Wish your friends and family happy holidays with stylish cards created by Charleston influencers Venita Aspen or Megan Stokes. The model and lifestyle blogger each teamed up with an artist from Alabama-based paper goods company Dogwood Hill to design coordinating party invitations, cards, thank you notes, and gift tags. Stokes’s designs feature green wreaths, garlands, and trees with blue accents, while Aspen’s are cocktail-party inspired with champagne flutes intended to be ”warm and inviting no matter the celebration or religious background.” The stationery, part of the company’s annual holiday tastemaker collection, is available exclusively on its website. Longtime linen, lingerie, and gift shop The Boutique has relocated to a more visible location on King Street and joined the Middle King shopping district along with M. Dumas & Sons, Croghan‘s Jewel Box, and other local retailers. Rose-colored Glasses
Cleod Glass + Works, founded in Massachusetts last year, is bringing its modern hand-blown glass to Broad Street. Co-owner James McLeod says he and his wife chose Charleston for their second retail location because he wanted to expand the business beyond the Northeast, and “it’s a vibrant city with a strong appreciation of the arts.” They eventually plan to open a glass-blowing studio here as well.
