Showing Up

North Carolina-based sports star stylist Erica Hanks and her business partner Sarah Ashley have debuted their first pop-up shop for the e-tailer Showroom at Freshfields Village. The boutique, which will be open through August, caters to working women looking to elevate their styles from pandemic loungewear. Shoppers can find brands such as Rachel Comey, Joseph, Christopher Kane, Tibi, and Victoria by Victoria Beckham, as well as Turkish towels from Mount Pleasant’s The Loomia. In addition, local florist CC Bloom is offering a “Bloom Bar,” where shoppers can create arrangements. [249 Gardners Cir., Kiawah Island, shopshowroom.com]

Home Renovations

Well-Furnished home decor in South Windermere Center is expanding, opening a 1,500-square-foot annex across the street, which will feature case goods, seating, lighting, large-scale artwork, and mirrors. The original store, which opened five years ago, has been renovated to include an accessories room and will continue to offer a large selection of Julie Vos jewelry, as well as unique gifts. Now Reopened

Helen Rutledge’s Bibelot eclectic home emporium has reopened after closing in September 2020 amid the pandemic to focus on building the store’s web presence. Bibelot’s expanded inventory features one-of-a-kind, global-inspired pieces, including antiques, artisan furniture, housewares, textiles, rugs, and architectural accents. The store also showcases work from local artists such as Nathalie Naylor, Nadia Stieglitz, and Paige Hathaway Thorn. From 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 4, Bibelot will host a Souk Session featuring DJ Feelwick, tequila brand Nock, and local artisans. [1147 Bowman Rd., bibelothome.com]
