SUDDEN NOTICE: “After spending weekend after weekend around Danny, I finally realized he was becoming more than just a friend,” says Tyler. “From that moment on, he had my heart!”
RUNWAY WALK: Custom-made by Boutique Rentals, the aisle runner mirrored the bright pattern used throughout the reception décor.
TWO BY TWO: A pair of planters resplendent with blooms framed the couple as they exchanged their vows. The bride’s towheaded nephews stood by with rings at the ready.
DECLARATION OF LOVE: The couple dated for a year and two months before Danny proposed on Folly Beach. “We knew we wanted to spend our lives together very early on in our relationship,” says Tyler.
WRITE OF PASSAGE: Candles and floral arrangements lent a “gorgeous and inviting” air to the book-signing station, says Tyler.
LETTER PERFECT: Flower arrangements and flickering candles made the book signing station “warm, gorgeous, and inviting,” says Tyler.
THIRST QUENCHER: Guests were offered champagne with “Tyler & Danny” cocktail napkins.
BEST DRESSED: Tyler wore a gown by Monique Lhuillier; Danny, a khaki suit from M. Dumas & Sons.
APRIL SHOWERS: Blossoms Events filled glass beakers and wooden cylinders with garden roses, hydrangea, ranunculus, tulips, and more.
STIR IN STYLE: Funky vintage swivel sticks decorated the couple’s signature margaritas.
PALETTE PIZAZZ: “I knew there would be beautiful taupe and green tones in the setting…but I wanted to add some excitement,” says Tyler. “Orange has always been one of my favorite colors and I thought it would really add a punch to the party!”
SPRING THING: Custom pillows added comfy pops of color to the setting.
PATTERN PERFECT: Serving trays bore the same lime green and white floral pattern as the aisle runner, ring bearer pillows, and other small details of the décor.
LOWCOUNTRY LAD: Complete with a seersucker suit and glass of sweet tea, a young guest shows off his Charleston charm.
HANGING AROUND: Woven lanterns with custom cord covers added an organic element.
CITRUS BLEND: Curtains of vivid orange and table linens of lime green created a festive backdrop that was framed with a clear-top tent, which kept the space airy.
HOW APPETIZING: Calder created a waterside lounge with orange cubbies offering small plates of cheese and charcuterie for guests.
CAKEWALK: “I can’t wait to get another taste on our anniversary!” says Tyler of the treats from Wedding Cakes by Jim Smeal.
HIGHS AND LOWS: Vases of various heights and in assorted materials gave the mixed flora dynamic flare. Single stems grouped in a cluster like this creates a full centerpiece.
GARLAND GLITTER: Technical Event Company draped strands of globe lights across a tent frame to create a outdoor room.
DIG IN! The all-white, three-tiered confection from Weddings Cakes by Jim Smeal was decorated with a trio of patterns pulled from the reception’s décor.
LATE NIGHT TALK SHOW: Palmetto trees, torches, and string lights formed an intimate outdoor setting for conversation.
PROPER SENDOFF: “Family is very important to both Danny and I,” says Tyler. “We were so fortunate to have such loving and supportive families to stand by us on our Big Day.”
HAPPILY HITCHED: Tyler and Danny rode away in a vintage sedan rented from the Charleston Black Cab Company sporting a custom-made sign.
