Open-faced toast creations and refreshing aguas frescas are some of the fast and healthy options from this popular food truck.

For something quick and on-the-go, The Juice Joint food truck is a weekend fixture parked catty-corner from McKevlin’s Surf Shop. Beach residents Wendy and Mike Ezelle emphasize fresh, raw, and local ingredients in creating their acai sorbet bowls or multi-grained open-faced toast concoctions (like avocado with red pepper flakes or almond butter banana), plus thirst quenchers such as grapefruit-blueberry-mint agua fresca. Their fresh-pressed limeade sweetened with agave nectar and pomegranate molasses hits the spot after a long walk or a yoga session, and their all-fruit “Dreamsicle” smoothie speaks to the kid in all of us.

Open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m; Saturday, 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m; & Sunday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. (Fall/winter hours vary.) 110 E. Ashley Ave., thejuicejoint.com
