Plus, a new shoe company steps onto the scene

Jahde Leather Atelier has designed a limited-edition collection of collars inspired by the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

May It Please the Court

In honor of International Women’s Day this month, Jahde Leather Atelier is launching a limited-edition collection of leather collars inspired by the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who was known for the elaborate neckwear she paired with her black robe, often signaling her opinion on a case. Designer Andrea Jahde is releasing nine one-of-a-kind collars, which she plans to photograph on inspiring local women before holding a virtual auction. Proceeds will benefit Good Friends of the Lowcountry, which helps low-income families. [68 Queen St., jahdemade.com]

Spring In Your Step

Charleston-based Kheloni ”little Greek sandals” are striding on the scene just in time for warmer weather, with four chic styles, including a linen T-strap and a patent-leather thong sandal, with contrasting print lining, as well as cowhide leather slides with removable ankle ties. Founder Rebecca Sarafidis Gradler, whose father was born in Athens, plans to introduce more designs later this summer, including a pool slide. Shop the footwear, handmade in Athens, at a pop-up at Rhodes Boutique on March 11 and at the Wine, Women, & Shoes event in May, as well as on their website. [kheloni.com]

Burning Bright

After rebranding last fall, Charleston Candle Company is releasing three new products, including the most-requested addition: hand-poured candles in their Lowcountry-inspired linen spray scents, such as “Sea Salt,” “Indigo Fresh,” and “Courtyard Garden.” Other new arrivals include four-ounce candles in travel tins featuring their “Front Porch Collection” scents and refill bottles for their popular linen and pillow sprays. Find Charleston Candle Company products in The Station Park Circle or on their website. [charlestoncandleco.com]
